 Led Light problem

When I put in the battery and charged, it breathtakingly took regarding 45 minutes to to a complete degree be charged (blue LED light shown). However, when I get started my laptop and used it for a while, the LED light toggled amidst blue and red light (charging). I need to use it for a while to at long last conclude that this battery would cause more severe disturb or not with my own peril (but my laptop is kind of beauteous old anyway). Does any person know we need to basi charge the new battery for at least 16 hours before we may use it commonly (charge and recharge)?
